An insurance broker with over 40 years experience in the insurance industry, Sheilagh works for one of the largest independent brokers in Scotland, requiring that her work for a bank of clients must be of a highly professional standard.

She has an honours degree from the Open University and, apart from her directorship of the Day Centre, her interests include music, the Arts generally, history and family and friends.

She first became involved with the Day Centre when her Mother spent some time there each week and she was able to see, at first hand, the great work being carried out there and the benefits of this to the Service Users.


Cath spent her working life teaching in various Midlothian Primary Schools, the last 10 of them in Newtongrange. She has three children who have gifted her and her husband with three wonderful grandchildren. They spend as much time as they can with them but both Cath and her husband are involved in other activities. Cath sings with and/or leads various music groups and likes to spend time in her garden, travelling and entertaining friends.


Eileen qualified as a Health Visitor in 1974 and worked initially in Gateshead and the West Midlands before moving to Scotland where she worked inSouth Queensferry for several years before having a career break to bring up her 4 children, Eileen returned to work in 1990 and spent 19 years in Newtongrange as a Health visitor before retiring in 2011.

 

Eileen has been involved with St. David’s for over 10 years and her interests include family, grandchildren, rugby (watching only!), gardening, knitting and reading.
